Overview

After making modifications to the ejbServer.xml file in an Aurea Process (formerly known as CX Process, Savvion and SBM) install with JBoss, the modifications are lost when the Aurea Process server is restarted.

Prerequisites

• Access to modify files in the Aurea Process install directory.

Solution

The changes to ejbServer.xml file are being overwritten when the Aurea Process server restarts because on startup the ejbServer.xml file is replaced with the ejbServer.xml.orig file. 

To ensure any modifications you would like to make to the ejbServer.xml file are retained, please make those modifications to the ejbServer.xml.orig file and they will be applied to the ejbServer.xml when the Aurea Process server is started.

Testing

Once you have made the required modifications to the ejbServer.xml.orig file, on startup the Aurea Server will apply the changes to the ejbServer.xml file.
