Overview
After a security compliance review of Aurea Process (formerly known as CX Process, Savvion and SBM) 2015 SP1 on Weblogic by your IT department, the default superuser (system/wlsysadmin) used by Aurea Process and Weblogic has been identified for removal. You would like to know if it is possible to remove the default superuser configured without affecting Aurea Process and Weblogic.
Prerequisites
- A different user account with the same administrative privileges as the default system user
Solution
It is possible to remove the default superuser that is used with Aurea Process and Weblogic.
Before removing the default superuser, you will need to configure Aurea Process and Weblogic to use a different user account with administrative privileges.
Please use the User Configuration Tool that is provided with Aurea Process to update the details of the user account with administrative privileges in all of the required configuration files. For more details on how to use the User Configuration Tool, please refer to the Using the User Configuration Tool section in the Aurea Process 2015 SP1 Server Administration Guide.
Testing
Once the details of the new user account with administrative privileges are configured in Aurea Process and Weblogic and the system is verified to be working correctly, you can remove the default superuser.
