Overview

You are trying to install Aurea Process 2021 R1 via GUI mode. But, after accepting the Terms and Conditions, the installer is directly going for installing the Aurea Process without asking for other details like hostname, DB connections, other credentials, etc.

We get the following error:

Enter a valid host name that does not contain spaces

Solution

This issue appears when your installer is using Java version 1.7.

You need to use Java 1.8 with your Installer.
